思い出してもらえる景色でありたい。

最近、写真を撮るときの目線が、少し変わった気がしています。

「きれいに見せたい」でも「伝わってほしい」でもなくて、
“思い出してもらえる景色かな” と、どこかで考えている自分がいました。

ジュエヌには、旅の途中でふと立ち寄って、
数年ぶりにまた訪れてくださるお客様がいらっしゃいます。

そのたびに思います。
「いいな」と感じた記憶は、ちゃんと心に残るんだなって。

だからいま、写真や文章を整えるときも、
あれこれ飾るより、
“その人のなかに自然と残る光景かどうか” を意識するようになりました。

特別なことはしていないけれど、
その積み重ねが、
「また行きたいね」と思っていただける理由になれたらと思っています。

この春も、ジュエヌはいつもの場所に、いつものように在ります。
記憶のどこかで灯り続ける景色として、
誰かの心にそっと残っていられたら、それがいちばん私もうれしいことです。

「また行きたいね」の中にある風景を伝えたくて。

Hello, I’m Pii, the blog editor at je ê t nous.

Lately, I’ve noticed a small shift in how I take photos for the blog.

It’s not about making things look perfect, or even about getting a message across.
It’s about creating a scene that someone might remember later.

Some of our visitors discover our little deer-themed shop during their travels in Nara,
and return years later—because something stayed in their memory.

That feeling made me realize:
moments that feel “just right” tend to stay with people.

So now, when I choose photos or write captions,
I try to ask myself,
“Will someone remember this?”

We’re not doing anything flashy.
Just refining small things, day by day.
But maybe that’s what makes people want to come back again.

As always, je ê t nous is quietly waiting in the same place in Nara.
We hope our space becomes a part of someone’s travel memories,
long after the journey ends.

We don’t aim to stand out—only to stay in someone’s heart.
